Year of the LED Lighting

Add some colour to your pool with the must have pool product of the year, the LED pool lamp!

New LED (Light-Emitting-Diodes) lighting systems are now available for swimming pool and spa owners offering colour-based lighting solutions that allow you to reinvent your pool every day.
With the wide variety of colours and light brightness’s emitted from LED lamps, they allow you to play with a spectrum of colours to create a different ambience with light to match your mood. You can combine bright colours to create a fun, festive, exciting environment or pale, harmonious colours for rest and relaxation around your pool.
LED systems are composed of red, blue or green bulb assemblies which replace the conventional lamp to achieve superior lighting effects. These 3 primary shades can combine to produce up to 12 different colours with an excellent lighting level and brightness.
LED Lighting
The light output is produced by electric power flowing through the devices rather than through filaments, meaning that the lights cannot burn out or break. Therefore, LED lamps’ service life is approximately 100 times longer than a conventional lamp with a significantly lower power consumption to help reduce those pool electricity bills.

Astral Colourplus LED Light System

Astral’s Colourplus system consists of the LED light, the remote control, a receiver module and transformer. Using maximum intensity LEDs (1W) in red, blue and green, Colourplus offers a vivid and highly intensive range of 12 different colours and a facility to programme any of 9 automatic colour changing sequences available. (Astral's Colourplus shown in above photos)
  • Control your Colourplus system from a comfortable distance via the remote control.
  • Colourplus only uses high power LEDs (1W) that produce a homogeneous light of variable brightness.
  • The LEDs have a service life of 100,000 hours versus 1,000 hours in conventional lamps.
  • The system uses your current installation; no changes in transformer or wiring are required. The existing niche can be used by simply replacing the conventional lamp with the LEDs electronic board.
  • No maintenance is required and it has a two year warranty.

Rockingham can also install direct Par 56 LED lamps as replacement for existing lights. Models are available in 2 versions, one with white output only and the other with 16-preset programs (going from fixed colours to slow-changing relaxing transitions and faster party programs). Available in 12w/12v (142 super bright 5mm LEDs), 25w/12v (252 super bright 5mm LEDs) and 40w/12v (546 super bright 5mm LEDs) models.
